MISCOMAR aims at developing new techniques for biomass production on marginal land that could be used in many countries across Europe, in particularly where marginal land management is an issue. For that purpose knew knowledge is needed to get a better understanding on the suitability of marginal land for Miscanthus cultivation taking into account the properties of the plants and the soil, especially marginal land.
